Does anyone know how to do this.....its a subaru forester bt should be similar for most cars


My dad got his rear quarter window put through today and want to know how to put a new one in please?

Its either a simple rubber or they will be bonded in... and maybe have a rubber as well on the outside if bonded.

Shouldnt be too hard.

It was bonded with a rubber seal on outside.....i started doing it.....then gave up after cutting my fingers to shreds lol and was freezing



We took it to Autoglass and got it done for £40

For future reference though.....is Tiger seal the stuff i shoulda used

I guess £40 aint too bad, specially in this weather.

Tigerseal / Stikaflex anything like that :) - thats what holds my MK5 windscreen into my MK3 shell (something which doesnt fit apparently :lol:) - and also holds my bodykit on, maybe something else :lolz: :rolleyes:

lol...must be strong then.....bought some but the guy in wilco motosave didn't have a clue cos it didn't state it on the tube :rolleyes:

the mk5 windscreens are bonded in as standard anyway ;)

tis strong stuff.. although I'm looking into getting something even stronger :lol:
