Andy still has a great shine as he used a lot less products than me - if he continued his line up, he could achieve a very similar finish.

Thanks for all the comments everyone lol, the shine is indeed real! The pic was taken on an above average camera, but the reflection still looks better in real life - the camera struggles to focus on it sometimes.

Sam - the car has been looked after by myself from new, and wasn't touched by the dealer (it was collected dirty then i detailed it) so it's never been swirled. You're bound to get some over time, even with the two bucket method, but it's now 8 months old, and i reckon the swirling is literally still as low as 1 to 2%.

Due to that , it's never needed an abrasive paint correction. That shine was achieved with Meguiar's Pro #80 (Light cut compound polish, usually used for finishing) applied via PC on a polishing pad. The car was glazed on one side with ClearKote Red Moose Glaze, and on the other Meguiar's Pro #7 Show Car Glaze, then sealed with Poorboy's EX.

The finish (and reflection) was then topped off and acheived with Collinite No.915 Marque D'Elegance - a great wax that really lends itself to a wet look, and very clear reflections.

Nice tree shots from Jon!

Gareth
