Does anyone know of a product (or if is exists) that can be sprayed over the whole vehicle prior to cleaning to ease the removal of dirt and grime etc??? Or maybe Gaz can help from Detailed Obsessions???

Its just i've seen people cleaning cars and after spraying it with water they get a large spray gun and cover the whole car etc.

hmmmm, im really interested in getting some as the Van is becoming a b!tch to clean sometimes but obviously i want it to be safe on the paint and stickers.

dunno what Muc-off would be like on a van
i use it alot on me bruvs speedway bike and on me wheels and arches on the car but you wouldnt want to let it dry on the paintwork

lol, sorry mate i couldnt reseist, they could just be using diluted shampoo to be fair, break down the dirt a little prior to washing!!

Use one of them foam lances, cover the van in the foam and its starts breaking down the dirt and then just wash (well thats what im lead to believe) I want one for the rallye! :D

Give the van a spray and a soak with a pre-wash before you start to actually wash it - Poorboy's Bug Squash cut 3:1 (3 parts water) sprayed over the van first will help lift and loosen the dirt to make the wash much easier.

I use this in the winter to free all the salt up from the paint before starting the wash.

I use a mix of 15:1 of G101 from auto smart, really cuts through the cr4p in winter

Yay i received my order today from Detailed Obsession.

Which included:
Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit
Poorboy’s Bug Squash – Insect and Tar Remover/Winter Pre-Wash.

Excellent postage cost and VERY well packed.

Now all i need is for the rain to stop so i can use them. Lol
