im Gauging interest really. im not looking to sell for a couple of months yet. my lovely little mk2 could do with a new home. its currently done 49k....that is original mileage. might be upto 50 by the time im ready to sell it but i doubt it. comes with a box of spares. its original 13s with skinny tyres on. and 14 inch si wheels. lowered 35mm all round with springs. will come with mot and tax. i wanted to zetec it but i havent got the heart to molest such an honest car.

bad bits
bonnet is black. not blue like the rest of it.
headliner has been re decorated.....quite funky!
drivers seat tilt cable broken.....thats what the passenger sides for!
some rust on n/s inner wing but not hideous.

Good bits
low mileage....extremely quiet pushrod engine
extremely solid. the only bad bit is on the inner wing.
good on fuel....cheap tax and insurance
parcel shelf hasnt been molested for speakers. front door ones have been upgraded.
tyres are as new.

i know it has a few niggly problems but in all honesty ive not seen a mk2 this solid for some time. would very easily turn into a cheeky street sleeper

ill ebay it if i have to but id rather it go to a good home :)

Jam.

and one bubble on the n/s/r arch.

i have the two parts of the knob, needs gluing back together or finding a replacement

and the dodgy door pocket.

ive been as honest as is possible. it is a very solid little car. and i will be sad to see it go. but it really needs to go to an enthusiast. and thats not me anymore sadly.

price revised. first person to put £550 in my hand takes it away. its not got an mot or tax the insurance has now lapsed so i cant nip out and get those done. theres no reason why it wont pass an mot provided the brakes are given a little work out to zip the surface rust off.

inspection welcome. proof of insurance will be required for roadtest. if the police stop you whlie in the process and want to shag you in the bottom with a cactus. your on your own!

As of yet no. ill probably bung it on there over the weekend when i have a bit more time. :)

its a pretty tidy little car. would make a great learner bus. or if like me you have a healthy no claims and a bit of age on your side its pretty cheap to insure as a retro chique bombabout.

its now in the way. and its getting damaged. nobodys coming forward with the intention to buy it. so it can go to a new home for a reasonable price or it can get ruined with a 9 inch blade and sold to the scrap man. i dont see why i should sell it for fuck all. have someone spend virtually sod all on it and make a small fortune back on it. im fairly generous. but im not a mug.
