There arent any which is crazy as its quite a popular car, youd think Focus STOC would cater for them but they only do the mk2 focus onwards.

I was hoping for a brand new one as I cant imagine a plastic pipe being too expensive.
It has another issue which isnt affecting anything but sounds terrible, its a rattle in the gearbox, i can cope with it asits only on idle so (it isnt thrust bearing) but if I come to sell the car no one will touch it.

God knows, probably some idle gear or sumat. Nearly got a gearbox for about £20 off ebay but the cunt took it off auction just before the end due to faults in the ad lol.

Is the leak definitely the water rail?
I had a leak on mine that took ages to find and it turned out to be a small plug & seal below the thermostat housing

Yeah, it has previously been bodged by the looks of it. Im saying water rail but I could be mistaken by what its called, its the black plastic pipe with a few hoses coming from it above the radiator.

I will get some pictures of it and you can all help me source the part, I will take pics of the bodge aswell.

My vote is on the dual mass flywheel in your st170 lou.

How come it takes us so long to sort out dates for northern meets when the southern lot are on their 3rd?
