Ry you wasn't meant to tell people that!

French cars come with superchargers as standard, how else would the get bhp to CC ratios better than ford?

service is done..cars running alot better i have to say..even if it did take me 7 hours and alot and i mean alot of swearing to do...my patience really was tried doing the poxy fuel filter...that was AT LEAST 5 years old and ive had to make some pipes to fill the diffs and gearbox..but its done now.

im curious to see what its running ill be honest....but yeah..it will probs lose the equivelent of a small car in transmissional losses.

That's good to hear, Jam! Im suprised the fuel filter wasn't leaking! My last gti-6 filter corroded so much it was like that, and i think it was only 3/4 years old.

That's a good point though, the oil I'm currently running is something I had to buy when changing my sump and gasket as a quick workaround - it's some semi synth crappy millers oil. Been meaning to whack some Shell oil fully synth, oh well

it was in a dire state..not that it was easy to find mind you...10 mins of looking round the back end it revealed itself...in a recess under the floor...and it would be above the rear diff subframe...enough room for one hand...but you need 2 to get the pipes off lol...and the clamp that holds it on..you have to take the boot boards up..another plate off..and theres the securing bolt....and then fight like fook to get at the pipes lol.

valvoline fully synth this time..and a flush out.. it does seem to be a bit more responsive underfoot and it pulled a bit better last night overtaking duffers on my way home! (i did do the works not just the oil before anyone says..its only an oil change lol)

cant wait to hear it barking on gordons rollers lol

Jam.
