umm..phil i am not too sure about the MT75 box, i dont think it will fit in the fiesta with out some refabrication, best person to speak to is jd 8-)

well now for the bad news, i have written my car off :look:

no not really, some twat went in to my drivers side rear quater panel this afternoon, i will post some pic up when i get them off my phone

i got his mob number, address, reg number as i siad i dont want to go throught my insurance ( the acciedent wasn't my fault by the way) as i thought it would affect my NCB's ( which it wouldn't as i have now been told) he had no wing mirror and a dog in the front of his van so could not see me  , god and my arch was only done in march

other than that small mishap everything is A-OK :look:

Im sure if you ask Ry nice enough he would make you another! 8-)

As for the speeding if you where doing 75mph you should be ok but if it was 80mph you may not be as lucky! Fingers crossed for ya! :)

well i just got a quote and so far i am looking at £874 :o  , its looking more likely that he might want to go through his insurance once i tell the amounts the quotes are comming in at, i have another 2 more to get still

at that price would the insurance company write off my car :?

Bugger..

I reckon they would write a fiesta off for that amount, but you could buy it back for nothin.. then your still left with getting it fixed..

thats abit wank mate, kick the other bloke in the face

If its more than what they class the value of your car then it will be a write off! just ring up or look throygh your doc's n find out what the value is for your car! Fingers crossed its not a write off as well! :)

Then again your bodywork on the fez was perfect by the looks of it due to the work put into it, and the 2ltr engine in it.. soooo i guess if you can show them proof of a fiesta in that good condition should be worth over a grand so maybe they wont write it off, just get loads of examples of auto trader etc

I hope he doesnt mess you about, i hope the companies involved dont be twats about it.. if its going to cost loads, id contemplate trying to find another good shell and swap bits over.. if it happened that you found a decent shell cheaper..
