Hi Peeps, unfortunately not an interesting update as the money im spending on the car isn't on interesting things :frown:

On way to work had a screw kindly deflate my tyre and it wasn't repairable so the kind people at the nearest tyre garage kindly robbed me of my money  and tonight im changing a split cv boot so all good fun.

Hopefully have a few mods coming next month

Well here is a partial update as still waiting on some parts to come through  lol

Sorted the mess of wiring where the one touch windows had been installed:

Image

So cut out the one touch relay, and sorted the wiring:

Image

Im happy as I now have working windows again 8-)

Next up was replacing the horrible boot carpet

Image

So Phil sourced me a boot carpet out of a escort estate as they are a lot thicker and nicer, cut it to shape and I think it looks loads tidier

Image

And that's it for now, more to come soon :D

Thanks fella, car now back off the road, got in it this morning to discover I had no brakes.

only had time for a quick investigation as needed to get to work, brake fluid had leaked on rear passenger side

Will find out what is causing it this evening hopefully, but to say im pissed off is an understatement

nice work on the boot carpet, but good job you spotted/discovered your brake issues quickly! could of been an interesting drive to work

Hope you sort it soon!
