Thought I'd better update this thread as I've been collecting bits for a while

The most import thing is I had the chance to buy another shell that was complete and in far better condition than my red one! The red one luckily wasnt scrapped, a few friends have taken it on as a track car project :drive: :cool!:

here is the new fez, sadly the week before i was due to collect it some stupid bint drove into the corner of the front wing :wall: ! Luckily most of it has been knocked out, I'll get it repaired properly at a later date -

it came with S2 seats, an xr2 anti roll bar and coil overs ( the rear springs had been chopped though  )

Image20140717_121930 by onslack, on Flickr

If I plan on driving it as a 1.1 I'll need a replacement rad

Image20140717_122341 by onslack, on Flickr

worst bit on the car is the stevie wonder handy work on the battery tray , this will be sorted once the battery is moved to the boot :cool!:

Image20140717_122318 by onslack, on Flickr

Image20140717_122324 by onslack, on Flickr

I checked the car when I put a deposit down but I ripped the carpet up again and removed all the underlay matting stuff

Image20140730_190817 by onslack, on Flickr

All mint under the carpet :cool!:

Image20140730_205915 by onslack, on Flickr

my next job was to stripping all the sound deadening crap off the floor

Image20141005_114202 by onslack, on Flickr

slowly getting there

Image20141005_125335 by onslack, on Flickr

after alot of mincing its nearly done

Image20141005_152540 by onslack, on Flickr

I've also replaced the chopped springs with the springs that came with my other set of coil overs

Image20141002_175901 by onslack, on Flickr

now onto the parts I've collected ( i dont have pics for most of them as im lazy  ) -

IB5 rear starter box with a quaife diff
Gaz coil overs
clutch and flywheel
vibratechnic engine and gearbox mounts
blacktop water pump pulley bracket
new dip stick and di stick tube
gates cambelt kit

new floflex poly bushes
Image20140601_194056 by onslack, on Flickr

new pattern lower sump and arp rod bolts
Image20141003_164251 by onslack, on Flickr

new water pump
Image20140730_153655 by onslack, on Flickr

I've also upgraded to a set of GSXR-1000 throttle bodies instead of the 600's

Image20141007_140921 by onslack, on Flickr

started to strip them down ready for spacing

Image20141008_151436 by onslack, on Flickr

roughly wedged in place :cool!: I'm having spacers made up in the next few weeks so that will pull them straight, as they are on the piss at the moment

Image20141008_151829 by onslack, on Flickr

Image20141008_151845 by onslack, on Flickr

]I've also collected a magnex stainless exhaust as I can't track down a scorpion at the moment :(

Image20141109_151437 by onslack, on Flickr

next on my shopping list is -

new block breather as mine is a little sh!t and rusty
1lt swirl pot with a lift pump and a S2 pump
DTA S60 ecu
water hoses
xr2 or vts rad

that's about it for now :cool!:

Image20141116_133219 by onslack, on Flickr

Image20141116_133202 by onslack, on Flickr

Image20141115_115158 by onslack, on Flickr

I do hope so, I've spent a fair bit of time sourcing the best bits I could! It's gone from being a "budget" track/road car to hopefully a well spec'd car :wack:

Poo brown colour is by far the best of the lot :gheeyyy:
