it will be awesome though - the look on people's faces when getting rinsed by a rattle canned escort van must be awesome :lolz:

Have pissed off a few people in it already.

Driving home last night my engine mount came loose at the rear, and looks like the shit designed bolt has come loose and threaded itself in the geabox hole, but the way it is fitted means i cant get it out. I have another hole to use so I am going to attempt to stabalise the mount by fitting a bolt through it into this other hole, and possible welding of the loose one.

This engine rocking has then nackered my gear linkage, meaning it struggles to stay in gear and sometimes twats the road...

On the way to work this morning the engine rocking has therefore made my exhaust move, the backbox twatted the rear beam and knocked it loose.

SAKE!

Went to North Yorkshire.

Did alot of booting around various hills, including Buttertubs Pass and Tan Hill to the highest pub in the country (just over 1700 feet above sea level)

Gearbox was whining over the hills, and I asumed release bearing.

Managed to do 270 miles as I just pulled into Scunthorpe and my gearbox ate itself, and is mega fucked.

So lets put it simply.. the van is dead, and I am not repairing it.

It needs, gearbox, clutch kit, rear leaf springs, brake overhaul, and probably other bits, and I'm not willing to put any more effort or money into it.

I will be breaking it for parts, but if nobody wants the engine, it'll just get weighed in.

But anyway.. the van did its job that I needed it to do:
