More like 15bhp with the cooler intake charge, was thinking of fitting an intercooler but the torque steer is phenomenal :wack:

fuck me thats a disaster!

infact danny ive proven wrapping the inlet crossover in foil reduces the intake temp and actually makes the car more responsive, but your an expert you'd know this already

I think the main reason for such 'poor' mpg is the gearbox ratios. If it was possible to slap on a 6 speeder or use a very custom 5th you could easily take advantage of the low down torque in the 2 litre to get wonderful mpg.
