Thanks for the info Dalsy aim to get a GATES belt, do you get them online?

Paul im surprised you havent mentioned turbo yet lol. Iv heard about retarding the exhaust cam or something along the lines but atm I just want to enjoy it how it is but first move will be rolling road to see how it is atm.

haah yea theyre not the greatest are they, ST's are all about being unsung and sutble, them kinda ruin it

you'd do well to fit some US-spec lights tot he back of it :) lovely them

cheers daz, was thinkin about doing that as i have some tint spray left from the si. They look so out of place on a black car (they look out of place on any car really . . . ) so if i blacken them they will blend in until i replace. wouldnt mind some original centre caps also.

just seen that post Mr Lou, the GATES belt can be found at any decent motor factors shop, id definately recommend them, they manaufacture OE Ford items , so is a proper belt for the car

Ive got GATES belts on my timing belt and alternator belt and never had one fail

DINGBRO do GATES belts , but they only supply to trade, but if you know someone in the game, see if they can get you one, remember the tensioner set too
