Still makes little sense. Axle spacers are put on a fixed rear beam. Spacing that by a small amount will have little/no affect on other components. I mean, how on earth are your wheel studs going to be strained by something behind the drum???

Won't* will be, again, because I was on my phone.

Woahhhh look at this

Is everyone clear that this is about axle/hub spacers? Ford sell them for the sport ka and mk4/5/6 fiesta.

It's not about wheel spacers that go between the wheel and drum to give you a bit of poke.

If you want to get technical then yes the leverage on the mounting point of the drum will have increased due to the spacer sitting in between the rear of the drum and hub plate. But hold on! The stress factor will be reduced due to higher tension bolts, which are also longer. So if its all torqued up and fitted properly there should be very little stress value.

I could do with some cheese on toast now.

Lets stop clogging this thread up with crap that doesn't need to be here. Random section can be used for this :)

FIGHT!

Oh and I have 10% battery on my phone now.

Fuck sake.

I best go home and charge it.

That's about 150 yards away. Maybe. I don't actually know, that was a complete guess.

I might count steps and report back here when I have an answer.

Naaaaaat.

Yes

Yes,
No stresses stay the same but the ability to cope improves (I never said the original setup wouldn't withstand),
and yes, but still not what was stated, agreed?

From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it.

what happened to the rs2000's off your old si scamp?

i like it with the centre caps but i agree, definetely lower... and the stance with spaced wheels imo would slightly improve the look but each to their own :)

Just had an enjoyable read through this thread. Stunning little Fiesta Turbo this one. A credit to Dave and to yourself

Looking good on the RS7's :)

How do you rate the VibraTechnics mounts Scamp? I am soon to be purchasing uprated mounts for mine as I need new mounts before she comes back on the road

as some of you would've seen on facebook I had a little run in with some travellers chasing the car last night and trying to sideswipe me and run me off the road, ended up shooting in front of me and waiting for me, launched a few bricks and rocks from a dirt track as I drove past luckily this is the only damage, much higher and it would've gone through the window and hit Phil or Abbie :x

think they were trying to make me pull over so they can have the car away. quite common around here at the moment unfortunately :iagree:

abbie phoned the police as it happened and as soon as she said it was travellers they said they cant do anything unless we go back and get a reg for them :hmm: :banghead: she asked if they can just send a car out in case it happens to an old lady but they said they cant do that either

main thing is it didn't smash the window and only one rock hit the car, its only metal at the end of the day
