I think we all agree that dave did a really good job of making her a stunner and it's good to see that she has gone to a good home.

Cheers for the comments guys :D

Yes alex I'm not driving like a granny. But at the same time I'm not ragging the damn thing. I'm just driving her keeping the revs below 3k so I get a bit of boost thrown in too :halo:

Sure I need to do about 500 still Dave. Did another 30 last night down the back roads

More revs? I dont want to fuck it  you'll have to jump in one drive and show me how to do it as I've never run an engine in before

I'm sure I've read somewhere that grannying a car around isn't the best way to run in an engine

I think that must be the first thing you have ever said that i actualy agree with!

You drive like a granny then the rings get no load against them and wont bed in properly. you wanna be seing 3.5k, half throttle and about 4 or 5 psi of boost. get it past 500 miles drop the oil again and give it at least standard boost and 4.5k. 1000 miles, drop oil, put decent stuff in and full boost, loadsa revs

I've been doing that alex :halo:

3k half throttle and a bit of boost. On the motorway I cruise then give it a bit of boost from 50-70 to get the turbo used to it too.

More revs will come after the oil is changed at 500 miles. Then change again after 1k and all is good
