thats all coming along nicely  adapter looks lot better option than making new engine loom, is megasquirt running full sequential injection inc cam position sensor or just basic crank sensor?

cheers will :D

i got a pigtail loom that was meant to be spliced into my si loom, which i didnt really want to do!

my MS1 V3 is set up for batch injection not sequential, its due to the chip thats on it, i think MS2/MS3 can handle sequential injection

i spotted this on my wiring diagram as it didnt have a prevision for a cam sensor! :hmm:

I would prefer \(but open to condiseration lol) to keep mine internal edis really, how you doing yours?

you wanting a proper rev limiter on yours? as from what ive read and been told, if you run external edis you can on have a rev limiter that cuts fuel, where as if you have a proper twin coil drivers you can have spark cut for your rev limiter! i run twin coil drivers on my MS ecu :chill:

you can also have the resistors changed to run standard ford sensors, which is what i had done!

if you go for the above route like i have then your adapter board is pretty simple to sort out as all you'd need to do is jumper wires not actually have to use any of the resistors and other components! id give you the pin outs etc if you needed them :D

cookie456_the2nd wrote:
How much did the adapter board cost and where from! This is what i want to do with mine.

this is the board i got

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/eeci ... p-151.html

and this is the relay cable you'd need as well

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/mega ... -p-47.html

** bare in mind if you have mods on your ecu itself you'd need to make changes to the relay cable, mine was all done for me by my ecu you so i know it was right, if you wanted his contact email address you'd give it to you  **

Good work Terry :)

Always planned on using MS and then never did get round to it

Don't even think my "project" will run it due to having a Weber ecu with the ITB kit lol

ive not done a list of parts and prices yet buddy as pretty much everything has sold as soon as i strip the car

plus imo this car just has far to much rot to try and fight and keep on top of it with out doing a full proper restore on it which would cost far to much than i am now willing to spend!!
