New battery.

Will be ordering the case for the boot then the install will begin.

For the darker nights I'm fitting a few lights so I can work when i want (which will be a lot as my weekends are much more free over the winter)

so updates will come over the next few months. Hopefully have her running before then, then it's a case of saving to be able to get her mot'd, insured, taxed etc.

any issue with running coilovers on the rear and standard shocks with 30mm springs on the front?

will be temporary until i get some newn's.... but that arch gap needs bringing down and 30mm is piss poor

If it's a temp 'fix' for now, it'll be ok

Post subject:  Re: MY fiesta si - UPDATE! new battery, and wet sand/polish

So today for the first time in months i did a couple of things on fifi.
I started with my new battery, a bosch s3 001.

i soon realised the connectors on the cable were incorrent so the correct ones have now been ordered.
Nevertheless that didnt stop me from knocking up a quick bodge and low and behold we had a working battery. Interior lights came on, the usual bits worked and then it came to turning the key... i knew it wouldnt start but i got something, and that something came from what i can only assume to be the starter motor. It was a click each time i turned the key. So what am i missing here?

Next job was to try a wet sand and polish. Now i had practiced on my fabia and it came out a treat. So i thought id try the rear quarter where there was some shed paint and other defects. Safe to say ill be doing the whole car...
