dont normally post any updates i make as they are usually few and far between :lol:

one thing had been bugging me for some time now and that was the cam cover. the powder coat had finally started to bubble after a being on there for many years so after some thought of not selling the car i decided to get the cheapo cam cover i got of ebay redone

the replacement went from this

jonosi your si is probably one of my favourites. i just love how epicly clean it looks. hopefully when i have the bodywork and paint sorted i can develop my cleaning skills to be slightly near yours!

if your profession a car detailer, or is it just a hobby?

recently read a march 1996 copy of fast ford, it had a special Si feature in it, dont know if your familier with it

but its practicly this car, had a motorsport company develop a T2 turbo kit for the 1.6 zetec and sold it off with slightly lowered springs


it made 140bhp and 160lbs/ft


any idea of the power of this? and more info on the turbo'ing process you carried out?

probably did read it at some point but i got my idea of having mine done from seeing the car Severn Valley Motorsport done in the August 2000 issue of Fast Ford.
Severn Valley done my car back in 2001, no idea on the output of it mind but its quick enough :)

what sort of stuff do you use on the car lol? a DA machine or you just really fast with your hands lol? just love how F'ing shiney it is!!!!!! and the fact its fast too lol

I did machine polish it meself a couple of years ago but now i just keep it topped up with wax and avoid the winter roads in it

It does help these days as I drive the other halfs Focus most of the time as a runabout. Still think the Si could look more shiny though as I haven't added the proper wax for sometime now :chill:
