Just looking at the pics again, don't think that big bag on the spoiler is doing much for the aerodynamics....

:lolz:

No contest Lou, Fiesta was much more exciting to drive, as I was absolutely flat out in it everywhere.

The Focus is soo much easier to drive, but now a lot quicker in a staright line, and I dont have to be as aggressive in the corners, so less risk. But once I get it on a dry track, which I havent managed yet, ill see how it feels in teh dry, and if i can go harder in the corners

Chees Dammy, its a different experience , but definately enjoyable, its good overtaking quick cars on the starights

Dave, dont think the spoiler was doing much on Sunday, it was sliding at almost every corner , especially at Clarkes , which is a quick 3 rd gear corner

Thats a shame, you going to keep it on anyway or save on drag by removing?

My comment was actually a joke as it looks like there is a big white bag on the spoiler in every pic

As promised , some underbonnet pics

old manifold off

Image

new manifold fitted

Image

new wheels with Yokohama AO48 tyres fitted for intermedaite/dry weather

Image

Image

new header tank to go with the theme under the bonnet, with high pressure cap, to help with water temp, should work well with the aluminium radiator

Image

had some dodgy guy ask for some stickers to be added to the car:D

Image

Car is going for a full magazine feature on Tuesday if the weather holds up, and back to HQ Garage for some more mapping and more power

its going in Fast Ford, as a full feature,

Had the car out tonite at a track day at knockhill, car was going great until the gasket between the new manifold and turbo let go, so strip it off tomorrow, and get an uprated cometic one fitted if i can buy one

Ill phone Car Parts Express tomorrow, see what Graeme can sort out for me
