1.6 na cvh goes well and sounds nuts and is generally more reliable day to day then a tubby

Started sourcing bits now for my conversion, wont be happening anytime soon just gonna slowly gather the bits then book a weekend off stock jason up with fags and squash and get it in, so far ive seen a few engines going for the £200 mark with about 70k also fuel pumps are going on the bay for dirt cheap although i might go to a motorfactors see if they stock them. not sure if i need the fuel tank? also having a bit of trouble sourcing a complete loom but theres a scrappie near by which usually has older generation of cars

what loom it your after buddy? a 2i 8v loom?

i'm 99.9% i have a 8v loom, i'll dig it out and drop you a pm , its no use to me, so you can have it FOC

yepp just a 2i 8v loom. no luck with paul_B his has gone. if you've got it ill have it off you at FF got the ecu knocking about the shed by anychance? lol

i dont think i have the ecu or the sensors as only have it as i was going to us my MS ecu and convert my si to run external edis

just a little update. sourced some recaros and provisionally sold my si interior should have the recaros by a week friday cant wait

also got rid of the shitty paper ford speakers for some nice decent fli 13cm to be fair there punchy as hell!

i really like this car mate there is just somthing about it that makes it look perfect. it proves that you dont need a big engine to have a nice car... not that i dont like the plans to cvh it
