i noticed it yesterday, when i changed gear and i am liftin my foot off the clutch when it returns 2 it normal position it makes a clickin noise :? :?

i dont think its the clutch itself! well i hope not!

can any1 shed any light on the matter!

no help here but mine does the same, i think its probably just a loose bolt or something on the clutch pedal lever have a look under when you press it (by hand) see if you can see anything wobble about that shouldnt :)

i'll have a look tomorow..

nothing to worry about i shouldnt think though (have you ever driven any diesel engined car before 1998?)

just to add a bit of none help to add to this thread mine is wank my clutch it hates going in first and it hates reverse i sometimes have to press my cluth in three or four times before it will actually go in first!!!

it could b the self adjuster on the pedal or the cable isnt rooted properly or its the arm ov the pedal moving with catches on the self adjuster thats if the noise is coming from the inside ov the car hope this helps :)

can get at all the bolts to get it of, thats if its not the one with the braket over it :)

depends how often it does it. once or twice a week will be your clutch adjuster. if its more often, id suspect that the adjuster has either knackered or its at full whack and it trying to adjust further when it cant.

mine did it loads when my clutch was shagged, but i do mean shagged. ask des! :lol:

well i found our what was wrong, the hard way! went down town 2 have a look at a monkey bike! start the2 sec journey home and my clutch cable snapped! :cry: hopefully gonna get it repaired 2day! will keep u informed!

all is well went 2 get a new clutch cable and fitted it myself with the help of my girlfriends dad( top bloke) so my fez is bak on the road! 8-)

Clutch cable is such a common thing for the Si :rolleyes: Mines ate its way through 2 in 6months.

Im going to get a spare one and keep it in my boot, so Im not stranded anywhere :lol:

damn it, i was wrong :x AND i was gonna mention that the cable could've stretched meaning its trying to adjust and it cant. nevermind.

least its not a big problem, you can still get it home with ease :)
