I have a set of buckets in my Escort, i want to put them into the Fiesta but need new subframes. Know if i get them from Halfords where i work there ?55 for a sliding subframe or ?63 for a tilting - I was about to commit to buying but ended up looking in DemonTweeks, Tailord subframes made by Sparco for the Fiesta Mk3.5 about ?17!

Are these the proper jobbies of just extension bars as theres a BIG difference in price!

Right, phoned Demon-Tweeks and there basicly a H bracket and they use your original subframe (Yes there universal).

Spoke to a guy I know and he's fitted them, aparently they v difficult to slide to the point where they dont any more.

Any idea if there a crap fitment or he's done it wrong?
Dont want to buy them if there like that, ill just go the whole hog and fork out big bucks for proper ones

cant see why it would slide, and then eventually stops sliding. take them out and give them a look over. if these universal ones are cheep, then go for it.

pukka frames will always be better. could have a pukka one and a cheepo on the passenger side
