just bought myself a dremmel! woop. theres a few bits and bobs of surface rust, obviously want to temporarily stop this rust until i get the bodywork sorted in the future. in terms of grinding it back to bare metal, is painting over it with hammerite ok and will it keep it at bay for long enough?

obviously it wont look amazing but theres literally two patches on the front wing and door, the rest of the patches are on the sills...

ta, ben

Yep anything lol. I dont think there is something hammerite cant be painted onto in all honesty. It may not be advisable to paint a cat with it, but it will go on a cat no problem!

 dragged the cats thing over here now

A good soak with wd-40 or duck oil works well to slow it down then hammerite when that drys out
