also every car is different there are lowered fiesta's on 17's with no arch work

there are cars on 15' with arch work you can turn round and say 100% it will fit

my advice will be to do the heaviest arch work you can

wel thats what i'm going to do

Thats the spirit!
Be prepared!

sod what everyone else reckons get 17's. In this day an age 17's on a fiesta really isnt that difficult as plenty on members cars on here with back me up on that one, some of you lot are still living in the 90's :)

I had 14" rs turbo three spokes on my last car and they rubbed with weight in the back of my car. Next car I'm going for 16"'s cos they are better for handling than 17"'s, well, so I have heard. Plus cheaper tyres!

Got 16's on mine with 195/45's and lowered 40mm, scrub on full lock and when you go over harsh bumps, also cant have any people in the back as it scrubs so much (and I dont like having people in the back)

So i think i'll be having my arches done.

a bit ov a tip for u if u dont know make sure u dont go above x7 for example 16 x 7 coz 16 x 7.5 wont fit unless ur using v thick spacers u'll help or a negetive offset and u'll hav to stiffen up the suspension a bit :D

just bought some 17's for mine. test fitted them at the weekend and it catches mainly on front, gonna hack that back and remove arch liner. catches on rear occasionally, but not often.

can i ask why coilovers are needed to fit Escos rims to a fiesta....mine bolted right on....granated it did rub but nowhere near as bad as i thought...some mild trimming on the front should sort that and the rear arch lips modded. and then the only time it will rub is massive dips in the road and driving across car show fields! and thats using a 225/40 section tyre.....i know if i use coilovers it wont touch because the springs they normally supply are very very firm.....
