As i posted on the other thread, it is possible with the escort discs wih mondeo calipers and pads.

Get to a good motor factors and get escort discs which are the same distsnce front to back as the fiesta should be, but the bigger diameter, making 280mm i believe.

I was trying to use the mk2 mondeo front discs and calipers but the disc was too deep, and therefore rubs. The swap to a shallower disc sorts the problem out.

Hi Grant,

I've been looking into this and I think that the EsCos discs are the ones we need as they are 280mm as standard but being Escort Mk5 they should have the correct offset for the Fiesta to run without spacers.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I'm planning on getting!!

Paul

You need discs which have the shallower "front to back" dimension. From memory below 44mm or so. The mondeo discs are deeper more like 49 and so the rubbing on the caliper. Escort discs are the way forward.....

im confused everyone is saying 280mm, which is only the v6 mk2 or mk1 4x4.

The escort cos is also 280mm

standard 2.0 mondeo is 260mm
