Erm, not sure where im having it done, south wales some where! I'm meeting a group of boys from a south wales car club in carmarthen (i live further north) and then heading with them to the place. I think cos there should be a fair few of us its only costing like £25 or something, which aint bad! Gona cost me more than that in fuel to get down there!

As for mods, not much really. Just the 2.0 conversion running with the 1.6 si inlet manifold, performance air filter, although i'm still using parts of the 1.6 air ducting, so this might prove restrictive. Its also got a different backbox, but doubt that will make much difference! I also dont have the egr.

Not really hoping for much, say 130, its more to see when the power starts to come in ect, and just to see if there are any problem spots, as after 5k it feels like it drops off a bit, not sure if its a fuel pump problem, so hopefuly this will pick up problems like that.

My peaks at 5k so thats probley whats happening with yours! You should get 130+, i got 131 but it was being restricted by the ERST crossover, so unless you have one of them you should get more!

Good luck! 8-)

so with the RS1800 inlet on i should see quite close to the standard 2.0 power then :? , i still have my 1.6 air box and inlet pipe i am sure this must be quite restrictive :look: , i still have my egr

for a group £25 isn't bad 8-)

then keep the airbox and use a K&N panel filter! :) less heat soak and some even say you get more gains from them! 8-)

Put ya car on the rollers as it is now, then with a after market panel filter then with a induction kit! Then we can see if the rummers are true! :) ;)

ok. My car made 129.5 bhp and 172 flb of torque. There was a bit of a problem with back pressure at the top end, and it only reved to 5600 rpm which isnt that much really! There is a constant power increase though up to about 5400rpm, and its a smoooth curv. So a new zorst system should sort the problem and give me a few more ponys!

This cost £20 in the end, and the bloke was well clued up, helping people out with any problems ect, top bloke. Power at the wheels was 100bhp, which wasnt bad really. My lights are on cos he couldnt get a rev reading as my batery was fullly charged so the alt wasnt giving it any power, if that makes sence!

not much,

Egr removed,
Performance induction air filter thing
OIl filter breather
its using the 1.6 16v inlet manifold, and some of the 1.6 ducting, so probs quite restrictive
And a 5" back box that has been squished so is now something like 5" x 2.5" rectangle or summin. This came off my 1.1 fiesta, and i think that the the bit to make it fit to my si was simply welded on, so i have a 1.5" (or whatever the diamiter of a 1.1 exhaust pipe is) restriction going into my backbox, which could be the cause of the backpressure problem.

I'm going to look into bike bodys, zorst sytem ect after chrismas, depending on uni and funds.
