Sorry mate! I was knackered by the end and giving out rides had completely slipped my mind!

I apologise profusely! The car wasn't feeling very on form anyway, temperamental little bitch that it is!

I can understand your reasoning for getting rid, its a great car but to live with everyday its to much lol.
I know my car is not in the same league as yours in terms of speed and power but its very civilized around town compared to higher in the rev range, makes for a nice alrounder. I bet youll enjoy the mondeo for that if you choose it.

You know what, I enjoy driving it softly as much as I enjoy driving it hard. It's a great car to drive and just having that power under your foot is brilliant for getting out of situations or showing people up. But after 7 years of driving it, I think it's just time for a change to go with the new me ;)

And yeah, the Focus' are so easy to drive, and nimble! Not driven an ST170, but even my mates normal Focus feels nice to drive.

I need to go and test drive an ST220 after Christmas. Gotta see how I feel in it.

[quote=Andys (brit fez) zetec s was impressive on the motorway, they have a decent mid range to them for what there spec suggests.[/quote]

not to bad seeing as it was weighed down with pizza.. only used 1/4 of a tank getting home but 1/2 driving down which was weird. got off at jct 16, came off the sliproad onto the roundbout & and saw how icy the road home was so thought sod it and got back on the motorway.

turns out that the hardshoulder at jct 17 services is really smooth & and the white stripes on junctions arnt so much...
