where can i put cold air feed tubing on my 1.4 si, coz ther isnt much space in the engine bay, bearing in mind my tubing is very big.

no need mate really, it doesnt get hot enough to need caf. but if you really want it then have you thought about loosing a fog light and running it up from there?

Can you not see that this guy needs his air!? Are you going to deprive him of that!? Well!?

You should think about taking the engine out so that it gets more air into it. replace it with a downsized mecano set.

Then start whacking in airducts to your hearts content! :D

The air filter will have nothing to do with that. If it's a drastic change in average temperatures then something is wrong elsewhere. If the fan cuts in it's because the coolant temperature is too hot, not the heat of the air entering the engine.

Why would the induction kit affect the engine coolant temperature? Thats not possible unless your induction kit is squashing a coolant hose?
