 Post subject: 2L maf on 1600 engine?

what effect would it have if i put a 2L maf on a 1600 efi engine?

dont even bother, sam have to admit ur si is probably the quickest 1.6 si ive driven just keep hold of the maf and a slap a 2.0 in at a later date :)

it wouldnt really have an effect on power, as the TB would still restrict it,a s its the same size opening as the maf, plus fitting the wrong maf will make it idle crap

mine idles crap and its very anoying day to day lol, dont risk it


the 1.6 zetec is proven a bitch to tune, you could spend thousands and not see past 120bhp, the valves are too small!
