to do this DIY is it easy?

think it looks retro, wouldnt mind doing it!

also, is the whole reason people do it to save weight on track days?

original is so much better... you will only save a few grams by removing one blade and arm. it looks chavy in my opinion, but do it if you like it :)

I dont like them but if you really want to do it then have a look at the max power haynes guide on the mk3 fiesta, shows how to do it in there I think.

Haha! If it's in there it's not something you should do!

I made my own, it was actually better than 2 wipers, it throws stuff off the screen rather than just moving it around.

My wipers work perfectly with 2.

I assure you a good single wiper is better at clearing the screen.

This man has sense!

In all seriousness a single wiper moves twice as fast and throws water/dirt outwards. I remember once when it had been raining and I got in and of course cleared the screen, but my brother was just walking round to the passenger door and got soaked.

But a single wipers doesn't clear as much I suppose.

I will add there is no MOT issues either.

Quite like them tbh.. sat in the middle of the screen if you have an aggressive stance it can look quite good. I think the green one on here with the badboy bonnet. Ash? His looked sweet. Albeit a bit different but I thought it was great.

Cinquecento Sportings have only one wiper because the car is so small, percy is right about the keeping it clean, only problem is the MAX POWER scene and the amount of surface it covers

You can see from my picture, that wiper didn't miss much but yes it doesn't cover quite as much surface area.

I would do it to the C2 if it wasn't such a pain.
