im reshelling my si with a mk3 1990 1.0 bonus shell can any one think of the problems im gonna come across ?

so far all i can think of is

seat subframes
hole in bulkhead for steering collum needs to be made bigger
need to drill out engine mounts
fit zetec engine brace

i am swapping everything over btw i.e engine box suspension exhaust interior engine loom central locking pas pats etc etc

On the mk3.5 if you have boot lid electrics, some of the wires come through headlining into the top of the tail gate, you'll need your fuel tank and lines too

also your side repeaters wont fit in the round mk3 holes, if you keeping the entire loom from your si, you may aswel put 2 new wings on from a 1994-1995 fiesta

while its stripped protect the new shell from the elements ala dave!

the mk3 square side repeaters do not fit the mk3.5 wirering plug, can always cut the cable and solder in the newer connection, but the square repeaters only look good on the rs turbos imo

also the front seat belts you will need to re use from the mk3 as the mk3.5 belt clasps are mounted onto the seat runners, not the floor

sounds interesting make sure you do a thead of the re shelling will be awesome with step by step pictures :)

i will do its a shame to see my si being stripped but i just want a tidy mk3
