apparently someone told me that my halfords pro toolkit is made by snap on?? :|

I wouldnt have thought snap-on but more than likely Blue-Point i got 4k worth of snap-on tools. The snap-on man, he sells blue-point on the van with the same liftime warranty as snap-on but there made in Asia rather than U.S.
Still very good quality gear and a hell of a lot cheaper

i belive snap on and blue point are the same company

Halfords Pro has seen me through a complete engine build, gearbox changes, clutch changes and every general job you could imagine, and I've only broke one thing  For the price, you really can't argue!

One of the guys at my work had a Halfords Advanced Torx bit which has their "lifetime" guarantee, but when it broke and he took it back in for a replacement they wouldn't give him one becuase he didn't have the receipt!!
It has Halfords Advanced stamped down the side but they still wouldn't budge, muttering something about how me might have stolen it so won't replace without receipt. Company policy... load of old bollox if you ask me, I told him he should let me go in and ask but he just bought another one :lolz:

Doesn't always work unfortunately, theres always ways around it for companies. Seen it many times with different things in Sports Direct when I worked there. Biggest C-units you'll ever know in that company. Tight fudgers.

It will work as they need to be fit for purpose, they really can't prove you haven't paid for them.

Failing that pay for some take it outside take broken tool back in get it replace then take full kit back.
