I run an A1 motorstore in nottingham and black diamond.. what a farse apparantly. They are made by a company we deal with called national which box black diamond and many other O.E quality clutch's brake pads and discs :halo: .
Dont know how true this is but the man at national told me they are all from the same production line told me not to waste my money on black diamond!
To this and i was shocked and amazed.

not slating them but saying that a normal national part or one boxed by them would be exactly the same unit at half the money

I don't know how much truth there is to this but I am one of black diamonds happy customers.

If they are coming from the same place it doesn't mean its the same in the box, rather than calling them national premium clutches (compared to national standard range) they could market the better quality items with a different brand name.

Halford's wipers are made by Bosch apparently, too.

Of course the proof is in the pudding, someone needs to order 2 clutches from these companies and compare.. ;)

It seems Fli use the older Vibe designs. My old Vibe black airs are the same as the newer Fli subs while Vibe black airs have been updated.

I still got a pair of 12" black airs in the loft, they don't fit in the C2 boot hence the 12" fli sub

I wouldnt have thought snap-on but more than likely Blue-Point i got 4k worth of snap-on tools. The snap-on man, he sells blue-point on the van with the same liftime warranty as snap-on but there made in Asia rather than U.S.
Still very good quality gear and a hell of a lot cheaper
