Ive sure ive seen some topics on this but search didnt really help.....


I just got a quote for my si with a 2.0, lowered, alloys, and sideskirts.

- 2 years no claims,
- 3 points, sp30
- standard imobiliser
- im 19 too

adrian flux quoted me just under 1000.

What else are people paying?

I am 20 years old
CAT 2 Imobilisor on top of Ford stuff

are all peoples prices per year yeh?

and moe is that 10k per year the amount of miles u do?

:o cookie, tis expensive for young people eh? my mum pays £201 per year on a 2.4 Audi A6 Quattro and thats with my dad on the policy and one of those no claim protector thingys aswell.....how we should envy older ppl :lol:

£1000 for me when i had my si with Engine, Exhaust, Induction kit, suspension Kit, Rs2000 Alloys, Flocked bits all declared. Cat 1 alarm, 1 yrs NCB No points at 19 :) Si was classed in Group 9.

The rallye is in group 11, 2 years NCB, Cat 1 alarm, No points. Exhaust, manifold, seats, Induction Kit, suspension, C5's, Steering wheel all declared. £750 Adrian Flux

And when with my points, SP30, next year it will be £540! :)

so when i get my si back on the road a cat1 alarm should really help drop the price?, and does insurance drop a bit when u hit 21?

TBH My Cat 1 didn't really effect my insurance! :rolleyes: :|

It costs more for me to have TPFT on the Rallye than Fully comp! :lol:

your all lucky... mines over £1000 for a 1.2 corsa... that fully comp.. with a CD10, 4 points..., 2 claimes... but 1 was 100% non fault :lol:
