me insuring a group 7 car for the first time. £950.
my missus insuring a group 5 car for the first time. £520.

Women get it a lot cheaper than guys.

having said that elephant gave me a shite qoute on her 106. (over 700 quid fully comp!) but they also give me the best qoute on the gti-6.

but confused give me qoutes of £300ish fully comp on the 106 and qoutes that are £200+ higher on the gti-6.

you need to try every single place.
jesus christ those prices are a rip off i take it he has bought the car??? if not i would suggest looking at something different as the saxo/106 are high risk cars that a lot of young folk go for and crash i got a quote for insuring my sisters 1.1 106 when i was learning and it was cheaper for me to buy, mot, tax and insure my kia pride as it was to just get third party insurance on her car which i thought was ridiculous try addind your mum/dad onto the policy as named drivers but not the main one it reduced my insurance by a few hundred
No he did'nt by the car m8 my sister gave it him as she bought a 1.6 astra so she gave it to him but the insurance is the only thing thats messing it up for him it was the same for me on my 1.1 fiesta £1100
