Emailed Adrian Flux, and they told me my premiums would go up to £1200 if I put a 2.0ltr engine in.

Thats just over £500 extra..

Hmmm, might keep it on hold for now then (haha)

ah no i didn't say you didn't pay your insurance etc.

its got nothing to do with my name being in green at all, i just didn't think it was a sensible thing to say when there are quite a few people still out there who still drive around uninsured[cry], which in the end scr*ws the people who do pay their insurance and end up paying over the odds for it[sad]

your more than welcome to post in here

Didn't wanna say anything that'll upset people, i said the insurance thing as a joke, you know HA HA HA HEE HEE HEE (Laughing)

Sorry if you read it in a way that i was gunna give him advice on how fast to run and what colour wheelie bin to hide in etc.

Anyway yes £500 extra is a little steep just for changing the engine, oh well save your money and get some more no claims bonus.

nah tis ok

[lol]@ what wheelie bin to hide in

to be honest when i checked with tesco how much they would insure me with a 2.0 conversion, they wanted an extra £650 on top of the 2k i was already paying[cry]

that why i got a quote with flux and my premium dropped 1k with 1 ncb and i was insuring my 2.0 conversion when i still had my 1.6(i ran out of money, so had to pospone things alittle[lol])

in short NCB's are your best friend[lol]

In all fairness Chuubyjon, Insurance isn't a joking matter!

I don't see other people posting, telling people to do illegal things!
