im living with my other half and i wanted to insure my fiesta 1.6 si in my name, ive declared all mods and i wanted my girlfriend as a name driver as it is the cheapest i could get was £1900 with tesco however with her main driver and me as name driver it goes down to £600 ive been driving two years and shes been driving 1 how much does that suck...sexist as feck!!!

i got told there are some companys that give no claims to all named drivers on a policy..

Direct Line give no-claims to named drivers... one problem though...

The no-claims bonus can only be used when you are insured with Direct Line... if you switch to another insurance company... they will not accept the no-claims because you wern't the main driver...

Im with direct line and I only pay £350 on my 1.4 Si, was only £425 for a 1.6 Si too!!! But I am 24, still a young driver :?

Thats awesome, saying that when you hit 21 you arent classed as a young driver anymore so thats prob why it cheap for you sadly i hav 1 1/2 years till im 21 so im still paying alot. if you go onto elephants website and say you are 19 they give you a shit price but if you say you are 21 they then give you an awesome price and send you e-mails trying to get you on board. its ait unfair i recon
