Not sure what they would be like for non-import cars, but these 2 companies were great for me: Keith Michaels, and A-Plan.

I went with A-Plan in the end (Thatchams branch as they specialise in imports), but very helpful and great prices. Worth a ring :)

Cheers dudes :) will look into it all

So far cheapest is £470ish with Tesco value insurance

While on the subject...

If I were to drive into the back of someone right now, and they obviously claim off my insurance, do I still pay my full excess in that situation?? - Just need to get that round my head before I start playing around with voluntary excess

Aviva

Aviva wanted 1200.
Or 1180 if I added my Mum as a named driver

My current insurer is iBuyEco, which is what I got on the cheap when I had the Cunto, and the Mondeo got swapped onto it half way through the policy... rang them this morning, to make sure they did not automatically renew my policy (cheeky swines!) and then I asked for a quote to see if its worth staying, the Indian chap on the end of the line told me I couldnt have a quote.. so I said, f*ck doing business with you then

As Des said, Keith Michaels did a great quote for me, only beaten by Brentacre by having a smaller voluntary excess. :)

Keith Michaels and A-Plan failed.

Will look some more when I get chance, but the Tesco shit insurance of winning so far (not that I care what it is, as long as it makes me legal!)

Sorted now.
Gone with Tesco (not the value one with its rediculous Excess policy)
£60 cheaper than the past years insurance. Nobody else could get close.
Now to go tax the bloody thing.

Get ouuuuuuuuuut! Thought you were older than that??? Not because you look it, but because I feel like you've been around for yeaaaaars

Shame Keith Michaels and A-Plan didnt work out, what's good for one person isn't always good for another in terms of insurance is it.

Yeah tis a shame about the ways of insurance, although Ive managed to get it slightly cheaper than last year, and it'll do for now, not running a sporty daft car at the moment lol
