Ditto.
But i've lost a year of it thanks to a charming young lady. Should be in court by Christmas. 80/20 my way is a given. But I want my NCB back :x

Im with Norwich Union now. Not sure waht they're like on mods, but I'm still 20, currently with 2yrs NCB and a f*ck off big claim still on the records (think around £30k and you won't be far wrong) they cover one of my 6cyl barges for about 500 of our English pounds.
Third party mind, but high mileage allowance

I think it's safe to say that ALL insurance companies are complete arseholes, quick enough to take your money and say what they can do for you, but as soon as it comes to getting a payout then it's another matter altogether - it's like you've phoned them up and told them you're going to rape their dog.

We pay them for a service. When it comes to providing that service, why the hell should we be made to feel like the ones in the wrong? Considering it's the law to have car insurance, there should be more control over it and how they handle things.

Did someone mention E-car, lol, there a Joke, just don't have a accident when your insured with them, no phone number so you have to do it all via email, most never get a payout from them, so stay well clear.

Elephant are ace with me, 21 with a impreza, 3yrs ncb and 3 points. I'd Never go with Adrian flux ever again.

Talking of insurance, been looking at RS4's, can get one insured for cheaper than the Impreza! :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hsugh:

Taking into account how much of a risk you are, how much of a risk your street is and how likely it will be that if you crash, you'll probably crash into an Enzo  Amongst other things

I tell you, starting an insurance company is just a way to print money!!

When I got my first Fiesta 1.1 Pop Plus at 18 I was quoted up to £2000 to insure it!! And that was 10 years ago!!

Now, I've got a 1.6Si Fully Comp with the lowest excess going and no NCB (As it's being used on my other car) 6 points on my license (although they are about to come off) and a fault crash back in January for £250 :)
Plus, I just declared my mods (K&N, Lowered 35mm, Mondeo Brakes) and it only went up £25!!

Am I any less likely to crash than when I was 18?? Probably not, as I drive like a 17 year old when I'm in the Fiesta, you can't beat being old and "Responsible"!!

Oh, that's with Elephant.co.uk btw, got them through one of the comparison thingys!!

Paul

when i had my fez and 1 ncb @ 21 with 1 years driving exp it was cheaper for me to insure my car as a 2.0 with adrian flux than it was to reinsure it as a 1.6 via tesco :hmm:

thats what ive been told but it was wrong, they guy said have you had any driving experience i said i had a moped for 1 year he said can you prove you had no claims, so i rang my bike insurance company they sent me a letter and then i sent it to direct line and they accepted it :D

but it might be that ive also got a full bike license not a provisional dont know if that came into play a bit
