Who are we with?

I am due to renew, but am struggling to get somewhere which will cover the mods.

So far Direct Line are the cheapest for me but can see anywhere to declare my mods?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ta

i'm with flux at the moment, but will be moving to greenlight in march

have you tried greenlight?

how old are you? if you dont mind me asking :red:

iirc becks was with direct line and they wouldn't insure her car with a 2.0 engine in or any form of mods till she was over 25!

Cheers for your help guys.

Terry - I'm 28 and so far Direct Line have come out at £222 fully comp with no mods so will give them a call to see if I can get them added and what it does to the price.

If not will try flux or HIC.

Thank fook I'm not the oldest on here

We've had this discussion elsewhere as Ry said. Just to say, I'm with A-Plan, who were awesome for the Pulsar. Give them a bell.

The problem with insurance is that it's so individual that what's good for one person isn't always good for another. I'm afraid it's best for you to just go through a list of insurance companies and phone each one up to get quotes, as no matter how cheap mine is, it may well be mega expensive for you. :)

You had a renewal from them yet? Admiral were cheapest for me when I first got the Pulsar, then despite making no claims or anything, didn't even phone them once, my renewal came up and they put it up by nearly £300! Cheeky wankers! Told them to stick it, literally!

I was with Norwich Union since I first passed.. due to them halfing the insurance from doing passplus... stayed with them for 2nd year.. come 3rd year when I get 2ncb they put up the insurance £600!! I phoned them and laughed at forign bloke on the phone and told them to bollocks. Went to Adrian Flux and they got it £250 cheaper than the year before at Norwich Union

Now planning on leaving Flux after messing me about.. saying I didnt owe them anything.. month later get a letter saying ooo sorry the accounts department made a mistake you owe £xxx.xx ammount. Wankers

Same as me Paul, how they can justify it I have no idea! The idea of another years no claims is that you get cheaper insurance!

This is why no matter who you go with, no matter how trouble free they are, they can still shaft you over when it comes to handing money over.

Cheers for your help guys.

Thought it was about time I got the insurance sorted, the SI was getting lonely being locked in the garage for the past 2 months!!

I went with Adrian Flux in the end, got a cracking deal and breakdown cover included, for an added bonus mods are covered on a "like for like basis" which is good to know.

Direct Line didn't want to cover mods without having a £650 excess!!

I went with Flux for £316 which includes £45 breakdown ( handy for my track days ).
