does any1 know if it is legal 2 have NOS in ur car or is it illegal 2 have NOS!

just a thought as i hvae been readin fast ford and a few issues of performance ford and see a few cars with NOS

Yes it's totally legal as long as your insurance are aware and you have a sticker on your car saying that you are carrying a compressed gas

this might be wrong (Dont listen to me!) does anyone know if this is true or not, apparently you dont have to tell your insurance company about NOS because its not a permanent feature or something (probably totally wrong? its just i've heard it from a couple of people and thought, really?!)

If none of those people were an insurance company then it's probably monkey dribble. That's like fitting a turbo and saying I don't need to declare it because it's not always on boost. :lol: :P :lol:

Any performance enhancing modification has to be declared, if the insurers then say they're not interested that's upto them. ;)

If it was fitted but essential parts like the tank were not present for everyday driving then why should it matter? would you need to tell then if you kept the whole lot in your boot unfitted?
