I'm looking at buying a Fiesta Si.

One thats caught my eye is open to offers on the price but I don't know whats a fair price to offer.

Its an N Reg, in blue/green flip paint (apparently its cosworth green?)
90k, 5.5months MOT, Electric windows, Pipercross induction kit, Escort GTI Alloys,

Apparently its got a bit of rust on the boot lid, and on the passenger door.

Whats a fair price to ask??

Cheers,

All the ones i've seen on the Autotrader have been between 5-700 for less miles.

its not a cosworth colour. theres confusion about it as the Si is 'Tourmallard green' and the cosworths are in Mallard Green.

rust on the boot lid is very normal, passenger door could be a problem. prices tend to vary quite a bit depending on your region. a stinker round here would fetch about ?400, but a decent one will easily fetch ?900-1200 with dealers asking up to ?2k for one with warranty and 12 months T&T.

by the sounds it would be fetching around the ?900k mark. i couldn't say for certain without seeing it. the wheels on their own are worth about ?150-200 really.

offer them a silly figure, offend them, and then take it from there. haha. you never know, they might accept something low.

I would want Kelly Brook as my personal car washer and the whole of the (fit) Hollyoaks cast as my servents for that price.

paid 450 for mine, knowing it needed new rear arches. other than that it's fine
They sell for as much as people will pay for them
if i were to buy another i'd spend that little bit more and get a mint one

Cheers guys,

I'll pop some pictures up tomorrow as I get them, with as much detail as I can.

I just don't want to offer them too much!
