Annyone know if the Electric Window mechs on the si are the same as the ones found on older MK3's i.e. FRST\XR2i. The reason i ask is cause i need a new electric window mech for my si, and found some on ebay but there not from an Si, but just a MK3 fiesta. Do they mount the same ?

i think i read that the whole shiznet is interchangeable. but you cant use mk3 motor with mk3.5 pulley things and all that. if you change it all its ok

but that might be me dreaming

works fine.

only difference with the newer mk3.5 units is that you can get into the motor mechanism itself, as the casing is plastic.

on the earlier models its solid metal and theres no way of getting in ;)

but its basically the exact same unit!
