Mike_Wall has got one, and I was watching it when I went out in his a couple of weeks back. It seems to set off ok when you put your foot down, and at 60 stops the clock for you.

But there's bound to be a margin of error somewhere along the way, but it does seem pretty close.

You stop the car, and set the calibration of it, get it to 0, then as soon as you floor it and move, it starts counting :)

Hit 60 and it flashes up what time you done it in.

Traser - Hi, sorry mate for slow response, havent been on for a couple of days properly. As above mate, simply plugs in to your cigarette lighter and follow the instructions in the booklet. The only tricky part is to measure your BHP, the gtech meter wants you to enter the weight of your car, which if your guessing might not give an accurate reading as you have to take into account your own bodyweight and other extra weight like a bodykit and subs in the boot etc. The thing works be measuring motion and G force to determine your speed. I think its pretty accurate, as when i was doing my 0-60 run, as soon as my speedo hit 60, the GTech meter stopped timing and gave me my 0-60 time, was quite impressed. If your interested in getting one id go for it. defo worth the ?35. Demon Tweeks sell the same meter for over ?150.
