I went Go-Karting for the first time today at an indoor track in Northampton, I had a great time, plenty of sideways action including a spot of stereo sideways overtaking done at one stage by me and another lad, we were on 200cc Karts which on that track can hit around about 30-35mph which may not sound alot but when your arse is two inches from the ground it feels a hell of a lot faster, all in all I had a great morning and would defently do it again but I tell you what my back ain't half feeling it now after being flung about in those rock hard seats... all good fun though!

used to enter national karting championships as a kid from 1994 -1997, used to travel to buckmore park: Kent, PF International: Linconshire, and Rye House: Hertfordshire. used to drive as a Junior 100B on a 100C sirio engine. Best fun in the world, cost about ?5000 a year to run, all ended when i got my first job and my mum said i can pay for it myself now :( , never did it again after that, couldnt afford to !

It was indeed!

I was also thinking about an FT/FSi Karting day, Lou (Summer) came up with the idea of a North v.s South thing too, to make it competitve, theres a place at Milton Keynes which is ment to be excellent.
