Is it true that -60mm lowering spring's and all lowering springs in general are just standard springs, That have been cut, Heat treated to stiffen them and then re-painted.....
I have -60mm springs in my mk3.5 and i have cut one coil off each, Been in use for around 2000miles not had a problem, And a friend has asked me to cut one coil off his -35mm springs is this "UN-SAFE" or is it okay as long as you don't start cutting the springs to short ?
We both run shortened shocks so no chance of them falling out,
Any advice would help
there a suspention kit i might be buying soon so if you want to buy my springs off me -35mm then you can have them for 25 quid. set of 4 and about 3000 miles.
