hi, got a letter the other day at my mums house from CIS insurance.
Saying they had recieved correspondence from a claims company about an alleged accident on the 23rd april 2003.
I didnt have an accident on that date. or any near that date. rang them up but apparently the file for it wasnt available, they gave me the reg number of the car supposed to have been involved which was my old fiesta. but she said they had only been given a reg number to search on. i was insured by CIS at the time of the alleged accident. but i didnt have an accident on that date.
best thing is, the name of the 'claimant' mr Lakillop. now i'm sure that if i had had an accident then that name would stick in my mind, it aint one you'd forget is it. anyone know what happens now?

People have three years to claim for an accident, personal injury anyway, but the cops would have to have been notified about the accident. Ask the local plod shop if they have any records.

i been fighting mine for 6 months now and they still are acting like twats my last letter was we felt you would have been held at least aprtially responsible for this accident and we have reduced your no claims discount to nill, we feel this case is now closed,

Thank you for using admiral insurance.

the l;ast bit of the letter made my blood boil
